Tori and Joel got married in October at St. Ambrose Cathedral and had their wedding reception at The Tea Room in Des Moines, IA. They also got ready for their wedding at The Tea Room, and it was a beautiful setting to start the perfect wedding day.

Tori was a bride wrapped up in so much love on her wedding day, wearing her mom’s wedding dress and her mother-in-law’s veil. I love anything sentimental and meaningful, and this one takes the cake. It was so special when Tori’s mom helped her put on the wedding dress she wore 30 years ago, and there’s a very high possibility that I was crying behind my camera in that moment.

After her dress was on and the buttons and bow were in place, her godmother helped her fasten the veil in place, and her mother-in-law helped her get the veil to sit just right. I loved how Tori included so many special and important women in her life in getting ready on her wedding day.
