Love isn’t just about engagements and weddings—it’s in the quiet, everyday moments, too. And there’s nothing quite like the love that fills the room when a newborn arrives. It’s soft and quiet, yet overwhelming in the best way. It’s in the way you gently trace your baby’s tiny fingers, the way they curl up on your chest, the way your world shifts in an instant as you take in this perfect little person you created.

Newborn sessions are some of my absolute favorites to photograph because they’re about more than just adorable baby pictures (though, of course, those are a given). These sessions are about documenting the love and connection that fills your home in those first few weeks. The way your baby fits so perfectly in your arms. The way you look at them with a mix of awe and exhaustion. The way your partner reaches over to brush a strand of hair from your face as you cradle your little one.

These moments are fleeting. The newborn stage passes by in a blur of sleepless nights, endless snuggles, and tiny changes that seem to happen overnight. That’s why capturing these early days matters. It’s not about posed perfection; it’s about the real, raw beauty of this season—diaper changes, little yawns, sleepy stretches, and all.

When I photograph a newborn session, I want to capture your family just as you are.
